Workshop on Renewable Energy Technology Applications
in the South
The Third World Network of Scientific Organizations (TWNSO),
in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP),
is aiming to identify and publish innovative case studies for renewable
energy technology applications in the South. The project is mainly concerned
with the need to know and share best practices in renewable energy.
The first workshop on "Promoting Best Practices for
Renewable Energy Technology Applications in the South" took place in Trieste,
Italy, from 7 to 9 October 2002. The Abdus Salam International Centre
for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) acts as local organizer of the event.
